This is linked to EASYLIFE, which is a mail order catalogue company. They ring a few times from different numbers, trying to get you to accept £50 vouchers and a subscription to a magazine. If you don’t cancel within 28 days, it ends up costing you £81 per year. I reckon they’re banking on people forgetting to opt out so they can make a profit. They can be quite pushy about sending this stuff, but I always say I’m not interested and that I’ll get in touch if I change my mind. It’s a proper hard sell, in my opinion.

I’ve not come across this outfit before, some sort of Rewards Club by the sounds of it. The caller seemed to have my complete name and was trying to sell me some trial subscriptions for magazines. Quite peculiar!

I got a call from some place called The Rewards Club on my landline, and they actually had my address too, which made me suspicious. They told me they were sending vouchers for stuff like petrol, then tried to get me to sign up for some magazines on a trial basis. They mentioned that if I didn’t cancel within 28 days, they’d charge me £82 linked to something I’d bought before? I’ve never come across them before. Sounds like a cold call to me. Bit creepy how they had my details, though. At least they gave a customer service number, which matches what I found online.

I recently got a dodgy call from 03451740565 purporting to be from Easylife catalogue, telling me to ring them back once my parcel arrived. I've since blocked both that number and the one they rang from.
