I got two calls from this number on my home phone recently. I didn't know who it was, so I just ignored it. Later, I checked it out on this site and it came up as some debt collector types. Got a ring from this number a moment ago, and I reckon I know exactly what's going on. I've got some debt at the moment, but it's all being sorted by a solicitor who's setting up a DRO / MAPP for me. The caller was from LOWELL - they're mates with Birstow and Suitor, probably because they even share office space or summat. Think people won’t notice, but it’s obvious! Like always, they gave my solicitor the cold shoulder and just ignored any contact. Classic behaviour from them!

I work for The official Lowell debt firm. They’re trustworthy and wouldn’t call you repeatedly to sort out an issue. Mostly, Lowell sends letters through the post. I’ve been with them for quite a while, same with my missus. We don't owe loads anyway. Our accounts are frozen for half a year due to some billing issues as we’re AOP, so no calls should be coming in. I reckon numbers starting with 33355 are usually scams from what I've seen.

Lately, I've realised how shockingly quick phone numbers get recycled and handed out as "new" to others. This means we get bombarded with calls meant for the previous owners, whether it's a mobile or landline. Sometimes, it’s even for people who had the number a couple of owners ago, since these companies seem to keep calling for over a year at times. Honestly, if they don’t stop, I might just change my number too, and anyone new assigned it in the future will go through the same nonsense. It’s pretty clear that the government, legal bodies, and phone providers turning a blind eye to this is a prime example of why the system’s broken and ripe for reform against these corporate wrongdoings.
