Got a voicemail from some automated system claiming to be from 'Compare my insurance'.

I reckon these are scammers. They claim to be from Compare My Policy or Energy Hub and ring me from different numbers all the time, including this one. Every time I block a number, they just call from another one. They’ve got some of my details like my name, but I always tell them they’ve got the wrong person and I’m not who they want before hanging up.

When I looked up my own number, found out it had been with a couple of different companies over the last 8 years or so, reckon signing up to the telephone preference service was pointless. Who even picks Vodafone nowadays, pricey as anything. Last time I phoned them, ended up speaking to someone in India, and we couldn’t understand a word each other said - had to just hang up, rubbish connection and massive delay, felt like chatting with someone on the moon or something.

This number appears to be linked to an auto-dialler that simply sits in silence until it detects a voice after you pick up. Should you remain mute when you answer, the call disconnects immediately. However, if you utter a word, such as "Hello," you'll receive an array of messages-everything from unsolicited promotions to being routed through to an alleged representative (I haven’t stuck around long enough to find out who they are). I've been receiving several calls daily from this number, 03333 446961. It appears to be one of those robotic calling systems that sits silently until you pick up. If you don’t utter a word, it simply disconnects. However, the moment you greet it with a "Hello," you’re met with a barrage of unwanted advertisements or, at times, rerouted to someone claiming to be an agent (I haven't stuck around long enough to find out who's on the other end). It’s becoming rather bothersome, getting around three or four of these intrusive calls every day!

Had a call from a woman keen to chat about our phone service (definitely felt like a proper Karen). She claimed the issue wasn't sorted on site, then asked when would be a convenient time to call back. I told her we weren't interested, and she got all snappy, asking "not interested in what?" in a really condescending way. If they try ringing again, which seems probable based on others' experiences, I won't be so polite next time.

This bloke was quite polite and said he was from Vodafone business. I asked what the call was about and he said my account needed reviewing to find a better deal. I told him I don’t actually own a business (I fibbed, I do), and that I’m not even with Vodafone - no signal here anyway. He said sorry and promised he’d definitely take me off their call list. They’ve already phoned me 3 or 4 times over the weekend, and each time I answer I say the same thing. Let’s see if they actually stop calling. If not, I’ll update my review and say it’s proper harassment! Be careful with them.

Someone rang saying they were from Vodafone Business, asking when our contract finishes. Thing is, we don’t have any dealings with Vodafone Business and definitely no account with them. They then started coming up with all sorts of excuses about not knowing about my company or whether we are customers. Couldn’t even ask for the right person (pretty easy, there's just me running the show!). Seems like a scammer, very likely faking Vodafone’s number. Don’t share any details with these sorts of crooks. I’ve now blocked this number on our phone system.

I received a call from a chap named Daniel at Vodafone Business, really polite bloke. He was from the business support team and wanted to help me find a better deal to cut down my costs. We had a proper chat about the latest Vodafone offers, and they only took the contact info for safety reasons before passing me over to my account manager.

This number said it was from a Vodafone business account. The lady on the call wanted our business account number, but we told her we needed proof she was legit first. She wouldn't give it, saying GDPR rules stopped her! We then asked to talk to a manager and again got refused. When we asked straight up if she really worked for Vodafone (which by that point we were sure she didn’t!!) she just put us onto what sounded like a Vodafone automated message. Definitely don’t give this number your account details or any personal info!!!

The bloke called David from Vodafone was really helpful, he handled the call fast and gave great advice for our Voip setup. He then passed me onto the account manager to sort out our contracts. Proper happy with the service, they never asked for any bank details and tried hard to get us the best deals while cutting telecom costs.

Got a ring from this guy Danny, or maybe it was Dannesh, can’t really tell. He was pushing some VOIP thing for £1.99 a month. Felt a bit sketchy, but I told him my info anyway. He said he’d take the money in the next two weeks and get the system set up in like 24 minutes and 10 seconds or something. Sounded like a friendly bloke though.

I’ve chatted with this number before, it’s a legit Vodafone call centre that doesnt ask for your personal details and ive been transferred to Vodafone from it. The only odd thing is the guy who says he’s 'David' has a strange accent, sounds nothing like a David more like Ali, and he keeps trying to sell me half price happy meals which is just bizarre.

Got a call on our LANDLINE from someone asking to talk to the mobile phone account holder. He never said which company he was from.
