It's Barclays, specifically their Mortgage department. I saved this number for convenience. However, on a rather frustrating note, I called in for a straightforward query that should have taken no more than ten minutes to sort out. An hour later, I was still left hanging and had to drop the name of the ombudsman just to prompt some action. It felt like they were more interested in prolonging the call rather than helping out. Ended up exceeding my free minutes and was stung with a £2.50 charge for what can only be described as a tedious ordeal. After a staggering 79 minutes, I finally received the information I needed. It's safe to say they don’t set a very high standard at all.
