I looked up the number and it led me to a page on the EDF Energy site about an eco scheme offering help with boilers and insulation. It seems this is only for customers who get universal credit or other benefits, and whose boiler is actually broken.

I got this phone number in a letter that said it was from EDF, but when I rang EDF, they said it wasn’t their number. Seems like a scam or something dodgy going on. Watch out!
