Got a robocall about some yb fraud, told me to press any button. Was suspicious right away since it's automated and there's loads of dodgy calls going around. Never give out your personal details to anyone, not even your bank, they should already have that info. Seeing mixed reviews, some say it's legit, others call it a scam. If it was genuine, I'm sure they'd call back direct.

got a call claiming to be from Yorkshire Bank about suspicious transactions on my account, but it was an automated voice. i phoned the bank using their official 24 hr customer service number, not the number from the call, in case it was a scam. they confirmed it was legit, and i also got a text message which they said was genuine. they told me the check was because of a payment going to the US, and they do these checks randomly to make sure i was aware of the transfer. number was definitely genuine.

Got a call from what sounded like Yorkshire Bank, some robot telling me to press 1 to verify my name and DOB. I hung up straight away and phoned YB using the 0800 number from my statement. They told me it was a scam. Makes you wonder how these scammers got hold of my info in the first place, maybe Yorkshire Bank should be looking into that.

They claimed to be from the Yorkshire Bank fraud department. Like many folks, I ended the call and dialled Yorkshire Bank myself on 08004561247. They verified that the call was genuine. The good news is that it was them. The bad news, my bank account had been compromised. Thankfully, they managed to freeze my account straight away. Big thanks to Yorkshire Bank, really top service!

They’ll connect you to the fraud department, like what I did. They blocked a suspicious online payment on my card, and the chap checked this phone number too. I received two phone calls on the 22nd of November, the first ringing in at 08:40 and the second just after noon at 12:20. I missed the first call, so I looked up the number, which brought me to this site claiming it was linked to Yorkshire Bank regarding some suspected fraud. Initially, I was messaged, where they addressed me as Mr Vincent, claiming that the Yorkshire Bank detected some suspicious activity on my debit card and instructed me to call this number. Following this, I received multiple calls that bore an uncanny resemblance to the voice message you hear when you ring the Yorkshire Bank, insisting they were from the Fraud Department. They requested I confirm my identity by pressing certain keys to affirm if I was indeed Mr Vincent. However, the Yorkshire Bank has confirmed that they would never request such information under any circumstances.

Just wanted to give a quick update since I posted before - I’ve got my new card and pin now, so anyone saying this isn’t from Yorkshire Bank is either making stuff up or has the wrong info. If it’s the latter, then Yorkshire Bank really should improve staff training. It’s worrying if folks aren’t properly checking to see if their card details have been used without permission. In my situation though, I’m happy Yorkshire Bank acted quickly and sorted things out.

I rang them using an alternative number and they verified that they had indeed been attempting to reach me regarding a suspected fraud incident. Consequently, my card has been cancelled, and I’m in the process of receiving a replacement.

i got a bit worried and hung up the phone while they were still talking. then i rang yorkshire bank but made sure to hang up and call back because ive heard scammers keep the line open. it was yorkshire bank fraud team. they told me there was a suspicious attempt to use my card today and their system flagged it as unusual. i told them it wasnt me so they blocked the card. good job yorkshire bank!

They were keen to confirm if I had made any card transactions today, as they had noticed something out of the ordinary on my account.
