Since Friday night, we've been getting loads of calls on our mobile, my husband’s phone, and even the landline. It’s an automated message, saying something about an application error and calling out to us by name. We’ve either hung up or just ignored it, but honestly, it’s pretty disturbing.

Something really similar happened to me. The caller knew both my name and my partner’s. They rang both my mobile and my work number. When they asked for my DOB I thought it was my bank calling so I gave them the day and month. But as soon as they wanted me to enter the year, I just hung up straight away.

This number keeps ringing me on both my mobile and my home phone. It's one of those robocalls talking about some big fraud sum. They go on asking me to say my name out loud, then try to get my date of birth for "security reasons" or something like that. They never say who they are or what exactly they want. I hung up straight away when they started asking for my private info.
