Had a dodgy scam call pop up again today, second time already this morning. It seems like these scams are really making the rounds. They sent me a text saying to press 1 if I was me, or 2 if not, but we didn’t do either. Honestly, I never pick up numbers I don’t know anymore. Best to just ignore them!

Got a call showing Lloyds Bank but it was actually some kind of Spam. It rang about 4 times but I just didn't pick up. I’ve had my bank card with me the whole time anyway, and I haven't even used it this week. Really dodgy situation, felt unsafe.

I got two calls from 03330459504 this morning, both were automated. My son answered and they claimed someone was abusing our credit card, even named the bank we use and said funds were being spent. I looked on my banking app and everything seemed fine, so I contacted the bank who confirmed no suspicious activity. Despite that, the calls kept coming every half hour or so, so we had to unplug the landline just to get some peace. These scam callers are a proper nightmare and really need to be stopped!

My phone flagged a second call as spam, but I decided to ring Lloyds Bank to check. They said it was actually their Fraud Team calling about a possible dodgy payment online. Turned out everything was fine in the end. Glad to see they're on top of stopping fraud like that.

I got a proper fraud alert call claiming to be Lloyds. Beforehand, I got a couple of texts saying there might be some funny business on my credit card. Then this number rang me, but I didn’t answer because it seemed dodgy. Instead, I dialled 159 to reach Lloyds directly, and they said yep, someone had tried to use my card without permission and they sent me a replacement.

I've been receiving calls from a number claiming to be Lloyds Bank fraud department, 03330459504, but this isn't the number printed on my credit card. I contacted the legitimate Lloyds helpline and they confirmed no suspicious transactions on my card, though I had made a purchase with my debit card which appeared on my online statement. That number isn’t actually Lloyds, so best not to trust any messages left from it.

Got a call about some credit card transactions and was told by someone claiming to be from Halifax fraud, but he also mentioned Lloyds. He asked if I made three purchases from Manchester - I live in Kent and have never been there. He said he’d cancel my card and that all info was recorded on my account. Rang my bank and they said nothing was logged like that. Reported it to fraud dept now. He sounded really convincing, lucky I’m a bit tech savvy at 77! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM CALLER.

This number is definitely from Lloyds Bank's Fraud Dept. It’s not one of those scams. They call you when a payment doesn’t go through or if they spot something odd on your account. They’ll want to check if recent transactions are actually yours. They won’t ask for any passwords or private details.

I received a bit of a surprise today when this number rang me - first on my mobile and then twice on my landline. Naturally, I decided to ring it back, but all I got was an automated voice asking for my date of birth to verify my identity for potential fraudulent activities. It left me feeling rather perturbed, so I hung up, especially since I couldn't find any information about the number on Lloyds' website. However, I decided to play it safe and called the number listed on the back of my credit card. They reassured me it was indeed a legitimate call. Apparently, they had flagged a transaction I had just made, which turned out to be a wise move in case of any actual fraud. After I confirmed my recent purchases and my identity, they removed the suspension on my transaction, and it processed successfully. If I hadn’t taken that extra step, I could have been waiting ages for my delivery. It’s reassuring to see that such precautions are taken!

NOT A FRAUDULENT CALL! I reached out to Lloyds Bank via the number printed on my card and they verified that they had indeed tried to get in touch with me. They confirmed that 0333 0459504 is one of their official numbers. They’d detected a couple of suspicious payment attempts through Paypal for just 81p, which they had successfully blocked. They reassured me about my last legitimate transactions, but since my card information had been breached, they’ve put a hold on my card and arranged for a new one to be sent out. I mentioned that their warning texts had an air of phishing about them due to the urgency in their wording and the fact that the 0333 number isn’t listed on their official site. If you're ever apprehensive, it’s best practice to call the number on the reverse of your card.

NOT A SCAM. I called Lloyds Bank using the number on the back of my card, and they verified that they had indeed been in touch with me. The number 0333 0459504 was one they commonly use. They flagged some suspicious payment attempts via Paypal for a mere 81p, but luckily, they had already intercepted them. They confirmed my last legitimate transactions, but since my card details had been compromised, they decided to block my card and send me a replacement. I mentioned to them that their warning texts seemed questionable due to the urgency of the phrasing and that the 0333 number isn’t listed on their official website. If you're ever uncertain, make sure to call the number on the back of your card for peace of mind.

To my surprise, I got a voicemail claiming to be from the fraud team at Lloyds Bank. Checked my bank account, and everything seems fine-no dodgy transactions whatsoever. Seems rather fishy, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Better safe than sorry!

I got a call from Lloyds bank, but I didn’t pick up. Afterwards, I got a text from 07883269199 saying Lloyds had tried to reach me about something on my credit card. I didn’t reply to the message though; instead, I rang the number on my card and Lloyds confirmed their fraud team had actually been trying to contact me.

This number belongs to Lloyds Bank, but the safest way to get in touch with them is by calling the number on the back of your card honestly. Caller ID can be faked, so don’t rely on the number you see showing on your phone screen.

Got a robocall saying it was Lloyd's bank. They had my full name, even my middle name. Said someone was trying to use my credit card and told me to ring back on a number that’s different from the regular Lloyd’s one. Watch out, it’s definitely a scam.

Received two messages concerning my credit card, followed by a voicemail urging me to ring about potential fraud on my Lloyds card. I didn’t respond, and instead used online banking to find the genuine contact number. Turns out this is just a scam!

Somebody said they were from Lloyd's saying my credit card was used on this Sunfund scheme. They wanted me to say yes or no if it was me but to ring a different number. Ended up being some plumber in Bristol instead.

This number appears to be fraudulent. I don’t possess an account with Lloyd's, and they’re reaching out to me on a number I never use for either texts or calls-it's purely for data purposes.

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Lloyds' fraud team, alleging that my credit card had been misused. The thing is, I don’t even possess a Lloyds credit card, so it's clearly a scam.

From a rather dubious character:
Following up on what I mentioned previously, I’ve lodged a report with Action Fraud regarding this phishing scam.

"I recently received a rather concerning automated message from this number, claiming to be from the fraud prevention department of my bank. They mentioned an unfamiliar transaction on my credit card and urged me to press any button to initiate a fraud check. To be precise, they addressed me by name, as it appears on my credit card, and provided a contact number for urgent follow-up. I have a habit of being cautious with unknown callers, so I opted to let it go to voicemail. I didn’t engage with the call or return their number. It’s likely this message was spurred by my recent decision to cancel an online subscription, aimed at dodging an automatic renewal after a cheap trial period of 99p."

Lloyd's bank?? Nope, this isn't the real bank, it's just another scam number. They rung me 9 times within 2 hours! BEWARE, I got a text first saying there was some activity on my card.

I had a dodgy phone call yesterday from 03330459504, claiming to be from the fraud department of Lloyds Bank. They rang my mobile and then my landline as well, but I chose to ignore them both. Surprisingly, I’ve already had another couple of calls from the same number today. The reviews label it as Dangerous, so I’d strongly advise against engaging with this one!

I received a rather dubious text call on my home phone, purporting to be from the fraud department at Lloyd's Bank, stating there were suspicious transactions on my card. They insisted I press certain options, which I wisely chose to ignore. Deciding to double-check, I reached out to my bank directly, only to find out that the number wasn't affiliated with their fraud team at all. To add to the annoyance, they rang me three additional times that very same day. Whatever you do, don’t engage with them!
