Got a random call out of the blue, total waste of time. Just blocked the number straight away.

Just received a dodgy call claiming to be from O2, saying they've got massive discounts up for grabs because of a decline in customers during the pandemic. Clearly a foreign call centre - definitely sounds too good to be true!

Someone called me saying they were from O2, but I’m not so sure it was legit. Felt a bit fishy if you ask me. Definitely wouldn’t trust it straight away!

Just like others have said, I got a call from O2 with this so-called 40% discount on my bills, probably 'cause they're desperate to keep customers. Nobody working there would actually admit that's the real reason, so it’s obviously just a dodgy sales trick.

Just like everyone else said, the whole 40% off thing is a complete rip-off. Don’t fall for it, and make sure you report them!

They called saying I could get 40% off my O2 bill if I just handed over all my info. Sounds fishy to me - definitely a scam!

There was loads of noise in the background like it's a call centre, and a woman with a strong accent kept saying something like "auto mart." I blocked the number straight away. Then, just seconds later, the same number rang my husband's phone, which is just one digit different from mine. Blocked that one too.

Couldn’t really make out what the woman was trying to say, so I just ended the call. They’ve kept ringing me non stop since then. Going to block the number for good now.

There was loads of noise in the background and the lady spoke very little English. Pretty sure it was just a spam call.

O2 called me up on a bank holiday, which was a bit annoying. I told them I don’t have anything to do with them and asked how they even got my number in the first place. Quite odd really!

It was one of those distant callcentre calls, trying to pitch a cheaper telecom package. Definitely a sales call.

Looks like an O2 scam to me, from what I've gathered. I've already blocked the number. Normally, O2 sends special discounts through their messaging service or emails, not random calls.

So I let them ring and when they picked up I just bluntly asked if they were running some kind of scam, just to mess with them a bit. Never seen someone hang up that quick before!

Got a call out of the blue on my mobile from a woman with a really thick accent. I couldn’t catch what she was saying at all, but she kept going on. Eventually I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call claiming to be from O2, saying they’re losing heaps of customers because of covid and wanted to give me a phone with 40% off... problem is, I don’t even have an O2 account! Definitely just another scam trying to trick people.

Got a call saying I could get 40% off my O2 bill. Checked with O2 security and turns out it was a total scam.

The lady’s voice was totally drowned out by loads of background chatter, probably from some call centre. Couldn't really catch a word she said, so I just ended the call.
