This number said they were from Citizens Advice, but when I asked a bit more, the guy on the other end (with an Indian accent) just cut the call off. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a call, could make out some noise in the background but no one said anything before they just ended the call. Bit of a letdown cos I was ready to mess around with whoever it was.

So apparently it was the Citizens Advice calling to warn me that strangers had been telling them I owed money. When I asked who these strangers actually were, the person on the line got really annoyed and kinda started snapping at me. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Avoid picking up calls from this number or anything like it. They claim to be from the council and say you can get a rebate, but it’s a scam. Just block them straight away.

I recently received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be with the Housing Repair team in my neighbourhood. The person had a strong Indian accent, and the background noise was absolutely deafening, clearly indicating it was a call centre bustling with activity. Amid the cacophony, they inquired whether I had any maintenance issues at my home. I simply replied no and promptly ended the conversation. I'm getting rather weary of these unsolicited calls invading my peace!

They claimed to be from Citizens Advice but I wasn't convinced. Then they started asking which department I supposedly owed money to - seemed fishy to me. Definitely didn't trust it.

Someone called saying they were from the "tenants welfare group" or something like that. I ended up hanging up because they didn’t even know my name and just kept saying they assumed I was a council tenant. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Looks like today’s been full of irritating calls, either complete idiots or total scammers. None of them bother leaving a voicemail or saying who they are, just no reply at all.

I got a call from a guy who said his name was John and that he was from the housing repairs. But he sounded Indian and you could hear loads of other people talking behind him, like in a call centre or something. I told him I didn’t need any repairs done, and then he started saying he liked my name. That was a bit weird, so I just ended the call. Not sure if he was trying to scam me or just have a random chat!
