They’re suggesting they could move me over to a more favourable mobile plan.

For the past few weeks, I've been getting calls almost daily from 0330 174 8385. It’s rang maybe two or three times each day but I just don’t pick up.

I recently received a call from someone attempting to persuade me to include additional appliances in my existing cover. Oddly, they seemed unaware of my email or the bank details linked to my direct debit, which they were keen to reduce. I requested that they call me back at 5 p.m., as I didn’t have my card at hand. The caller suggested I could find the necessary information on a bank statement. It’s a shame the police can’t step in and trace these callers while I’m on the line, should they choose to ring back. It’s utterly frustrating how much distress they can inflict by meddling with people’s finances.

I got a call about changing my appliance insurance and asked them to send the details by email but they said no. Then they tried to get my bank card info but I told them to call back at 5pm when I’d have the card. Afterwards, I called Domestic and General who handle my insurance and they said they never contacted me. They were pretty pushy so watch out!

Got a call from an unknown number leaving a message, but I couldn't make out what they were asking for. Had called me before as well. Bit of a pain, really.

On the 1st of February, 2022, this number tried ringing me at about 10:05 in the morning, but my phone was on silent mode so I didn't catch it.

They keep ringing me, but always swap out the last four digits so it seems like a whole new caller each time.

Just got a call from a number that was pretty much the same as that spam one I got yesterday.

My phone was just sitting on the chair next to me and suddenly I get a notification about a missed call. Tried to block the number but it looks like they're still managing to ring through somehow. It's really annoying.

Over the past five days, I've rung about ten times. Only managed to get an answer once, but nobody was on the line.

Somebody phoned me claiming it was about renewing my appliance insurance, but it didn’t seem right at all. When I asked what company they were with, the caller just hung up straight away. I tried calling the number back but no rings or busy signals - just dead silence, like the line was cut off. Feels like it could be one of those dodgy scams to me.

Got a missed call but no voicemail, just another dodgy scam, I reckon.

My phone flagged the call as a possible scam, so I ignored it. The same number tried ringing me twice over the span of two days, not sure who it was.

I received an unsolicited call offering insurance for washing machines, but the cheeky caller referenced a house number that's completely foreign to me!

Got a call from someone claiming to be an appliance company, but it was definitely a scam. They said my insurance on appliances had run out and they wanted to renew it. I played along for a moment, then told them I knew it was an illegal scam and they could get arrested for it. They hung up straight away after that.

I just got a call telling me I needed to insure my kitchen appliances again because my cover had expired, which isn’t true at all. I told them they were a scam and then ended the call.

The number 03301746791 keeps calling and there’s no name attached. I hung up once and she rang straight back. It’s some weird deal about kitchen appliance cover, which I’m certain I never signed up for. Now they say cancelling will set me back £190! These calls are really pestering me - they ring almost daily from different numbers. Proper annoying.

I've received a reminder about renewing insurance for my home appliances, but the truth is, I don’t actually have any policies in place for that sort of thing. Quite odd, really!

I got a call from 03301746791 about renewing my appliance cover, they said it was nearly expired. They tried to sell me a cheaper cover, but wouldn’t send any company info through email or post. Since I’ve been tricked before where a firm took money upfront for an engineer’s report, I just hung up when they rang again the second time.

This person called trying to get me to sign up for insurance on all my home gadgets, then said they wouldn’t bother me anymore. I never do insurance stuff over the phone anyway.

On the 25th Nov 2021 around 5pm, this number rang my folks’ place. The guy on the line was chatting about some sort of warranty for a washing machine, cooker, and fridge freezer. He said the current cover was about to expire and the new one would cost £19.99. The phone line was really patchy, so I wasn’t too sure if it was legit and ended up just hanging up.

This number kept ringing me non stop with some sales pitch. I told them my mum has dementia and can’t really chat, but they kept pushing to talk to another family member who handles things. Proper annoying how they don’t get the hint.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Appliance Direct or similar, talking about a policy I definitely don’t have. Total scam in my opinion. When I confronted them about it, they just politely hung up on me.

Silence prevailed on the line. I really do hope they’re incurring costs for these calls.

Received a call from India regarding my appliance insurance, suggesting that my coverage for the washing machine, fridge freezer, and oven had expired. They were eager to discuss renewal options, proposing whether I’d like to maintain my current level of cover or perhaps upgrade it. However, when I pointed out that they had my address incorrect, and that I actually don’t hold any cover for my appliances, the call abruptly ended with her hanging up. Quite the experience, I must say!
