received a text on 12.10.20 saying they’d take £157.50 from my bank with a licence number that doesn’t belong to me. don’t ring the number they provide, it’s definitely a scam.

got a text sayin its from 'tvlicensing' with a number about switching my direct debit over, said it would be coming from my bank acct. turns out its a fake. tv licensing are aware and looking into it. they told me just to block and forget it for now. the dodgy number was only off by one digit from the legit one, so watch out for that trick!
