9 monthsReceived a call trying to trick me with some TV licence scam. Pretty obvious it was a rip-off.9 monthsThis number has been bothering us for ages, and we even got letters through the post from them. I called up and got put through to a woman who sounded like she was from India. She asked me for some part of my credit card number, so I only gave her the first and last four digits, plus the expiry date. Now, they've sent a letter asking for even more details. Since then, they've been pushing for my full card number and bank details, but I'm just choosing to ignore it all.India10 monthsI got a letter through my door claiming to be from TV Licensing, and it had this phone number on it. The info in the letter was totally false, so it's obvious they're trying to scam people.TV Licensing3 yearsGot a letter that looked like it was from TV Licensing about applying for a free over 75 licence. Problem was, I’d already heard back from them about a week earlier. This new letter was questioning the age I’d stated. It’s a con, plain and simple.UtterSpoilerNigeria5 yearsGot a letter saying I hadn’t paid my TV licence even tho I pay it every month by direct debit. Definitely a scam, watch out!TV Licensing6 yearsI got a letter from TV Licensing saying my payment didn’t go through because of some tech issue, so my TV licence got cancelled from the day on the letter? Bit strange, surely it should’ve ended when my old one actually expired? They told me to check their official site, where I found out I can’t renew yet as there’s still like four months left on it. The letter also gave me a phone number to call instead though. 27TV Licensing6 yearsThat number belongs to the TV licence people.6 yearsGot this email claiming to be from TV Licensing, thanking me for reaching out.
