Got a call from taxrevengi claiming they're from the tax office, but when I rang the tax department back, they said they've never had any record of the call. Also, I have no legal case or anything against me. Strange!

I received a rather alarming phone call that claimed to be from the tax office, asserting that there was a legal inquiry regarding my affairs. However, when I rang them back, they had no knowledge of the call whatsoever and confirmed that no such investigation was underway. The number that called me was 03002009354. Quite the scam, I presume!

got a phone call today from someone claiming to be from the tax office, said i was involved in some kind of illegal activity and could be arrested. they told me i supposedly owed about £1600. then they asked how much money i had in my bank. i told them i haven’t done anything dodgy and don’t owe any money. i didn’t buy their story and ended the call. honestly, this sounds pretty risky, so everyone should stay alert about stuff like this.

Got a recorded message saying they're from hmrc, threatening to arrest me if I didn't do what they said. Felt really sketchy.
