I received a rather unsettling phone call from this number (0300 200 8781), claiming to be from HMRC. They were insisting I press a certain key, threatening that failure to do so would lead to a warrant being issued against me. It sounded quite dubious, so I decided to hang up. I find it hard to believe that HMRC would communicate in such a way. To top it off, the voice sounded rather robotic and male. - Caller: HMRC, really?
