On the 13th of December 2019, I got a call from 03002008740 with an automated message claiming to be from HMRC. They said my name was linked to a tax fraud and if I didn’t press 1, they’d send a warrant for my arrest. I rang HMRC myself and they were really helpful, telling me it was just a total scam.

The bit I managed to hear was near the end of this recorded message, where it threatened that you'd get arrested if you didn’t comply. It was proper unnerving, honestly.

All I managed to hear was the ending bit of this robo call, which warned something along the lines of if you don't comply, you could be arrested. Honestly, it was quite frightening.
