Reports on phone number 03002008714
7 yearsI had a rather unsettling phone call from this number earlier today, claiming to be from HMRC. They threatened me with arrest if I didn’t press 1. Naturally, my curiosity got the better of me, so I pressed the button and was met by a rather confusing conversation. The caller actually asked how they could assist me, which struck me as quite bizarre since they were the ones reaching out! Then, to add to the oddity, they requested my name and date of birth. Obviously, I didn’t give them any of that information, and lo and behold, they abruptly ended the call. It's clearly a scam!HMRC7 yearsClaimed to be from the HMRC, a department that certainly doesn’t resort to automated calls!
