Got a call from this number not long ago and hit one. The lady on the line sounded like she might be of Indian background, judging by her accent. When I asked her to explain the whole tax avoidance claim, she went oddly quiet and couldn’t really give me any details. Told her that I always do a quick security check when I get calls like this, which must have made her uneasy. The line kept dropping out a few times, she seemed lost for words, and then she just cut off. Honestly, these scammers have no idea who they’re dealing with or the serious consequences that’ll come down on them and their families for years to come. Seriously, why drag your loved ones through all that misery just for some quick gain? Find yourself a legit job, yeah? And if you’re scratching your head about what I mean, maybe look up some info on Karma!

I got a call from someone saying they were from customs and revenue. They told me if I didn’t press 1 to connect, they’d send a warrant to have me arrested. It was a recorded message too.
