I recently received a call from this number, and it was an automated voice claiming that there was a fraud allegation from HMRC linked to my name. They insisted that if I didn’t press 1, the police would be dispatched to apprehend me. It’s absolutely shocking, particularly considering how easily someone who’s a bit more susceptible might fall for this trick and hit that button. Such actions need to be put to an immediate halt! - caller: Pretending to be HMRC

I received a call from this number, and an automated voice informed me that there was some sort of fraud allegation from HMRC linked to my name. It prompted me to press 1, claiming that failure to do so would result in the police showing up to take me away! Quite amusing, really - I’m still sitting here waiting for the supposed officers. The number was 03002005826.
