Tried ringing back but got no answer, no voicemail left either, just saying the number wasn’t reachable.

I got a call from this number with an automated voice saying I was involved in some fraud with HMRC and if I didn’t press 1, the police would be on their way to arrest me. It’s really awful, especially for older or easily scared folks who might just hit 1 without thinking. These sorts of calls need to be shut down. They said they were from HMRC.

Got a call from this number and it was some automated voice telling me I’m being charged with fraud by HMRC. It said if I didn’t hit 1, the cops would be here to arrest me. Hilarious, I’m still waiting... Caller ID: 03002005826.
