I picked up just to figure out what sort of scam was calling, but stayed quiet on purpose. There was no noise from their end, then suddenly the line went silent. Seems like it might be one of those auto diallers that waits for a 'hello' before doing anything. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now. Caller ID was just a question mark or something.

I'm so fed up with these robocalls, just got one claiming it was HMRC saying if I didn't hit 1 I'd be arrested. Surely the government needs to take action against these muppets. - caller: automated message
