Got a call from this number claiming to be HMRC and then got a letter through the post too. Definitely a scam!

These scammers are a nightmare! Loads of those 0300 numbers are identical or very similar, so I just block them straight away when they ring. I've got BT Call Protect (just to be clear, I’m not affiliated with BT or anything, just sharing), and it’s free to use. You can pay for extra features, but the basic deal is that if you get a dodgy call, you simply dial 1572 and follow the options - right now it’s pressing ‘1’ twice. You can do this online too after checking who called. Honestly, I can’t stand these crooks making fake calls, it’s just rotten behaviour.

Got a call today from some dodgy HMRC tax scammer. They told me to press 1 straight away or else I'd be arrested on the spot. Totally fake and scary but luckily I didn’t fall for it.

Apparently, I've got a warrant out for me. If I want a decent lawyer, I guess I'd have to be held in custody until I manage to show in court that it's all wrong.

Turned out to be a total scam, they said something about having a warrant from HMRC. I didn’t buy it for a second and just blocked the number straight away. Also made sure to tell HMRC about it. Definitely don’t fall for those tricks!

Got a call from a woman’s automated voice warning me about being investigated by HMRC for tax evasion, telling me to ring a mobile number straight away. When I called back, it was actually an Asian call centre on the other end trying to scam me and take my money. Proper dodgy!

My wife got a call from an 0300 number, with someone saying they're from the tax fraud department. They told her to press 1 or else they’d arrest her. She was so shaken up when she came to me, but luckily she had already ended the call before I could tell her to just ignore it.

Got a call that seemed like it was from HMRC, but definitely a scam. They tried to scare me with some tax stuff. Wish these fake calls would stop!

Beware of HMRC tax fraud calls! I received a letter saying I owed corporation tax, but my accountant told me it was a fake. The phone number they gave, 03002003841, isn’t actually linked to HMRC. Don’t fall for it!

Got a call from this number but they didn’t leave any message, and it’s not saved in my contacts. Bit suspicious, might just block it. Hmm.

I got a letter from HMRC which had this number on it, said it was from HMRC Debt Strategy DMB 310 or something like that.
