Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was some tax fraud issue. But when I asked where exactly they were calling from, they couldn't give me any info. I checked with HMRC myself, and they said they never ring people up about tax fraud like that. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from this number earlier today, turned out to be a scam. They claimed if i dont get back to "hmrs customs" i’d be arrested??? Had to have a chuckle but honestly, thats not funny at all, especially if some older folks or scared people get calls like that. Best just ignore it completely.

Looks like quite a few folks are checking this number out at the moment. I couldn’t get a signal and it showed up just as a missed call in my messages. Has anyone picked up and found out what they wanted? Wondering if it’s something important or just a random call.
