Saw loads of comments about this 03002003763 number. Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I'd be arrested if I didn't hit 1. I pressed it, but it was obviously a scam. They tried to get my info, but I didn't give them anything. Instead, I asked who they were, why they wanted me, and where they were located. They hung up straight away. Shame really, was kinda curious to see who these dodgy foreign fellas were! Tried ringing back but the number’s dead now. Did the proper thing and reported it to the police on 101.

It just happened once more, I decided to keep talking and they managed to get my name. They claimed there’s a warrant out for me, and when I said that was rubbish, they warned me that my reply would be reported and then hung up. They’re really pushy over the phone and this could genuinely scare some folks. Have blocked the number now!

Got another scam call from some West African tricksters. It’s like they’ve got hold of the O2 or Tesco Mobile contact list or something, coz both me and my missus got calls back to back. We never share our numbers with anyone, honest! If you get one of these, don’t fall for it - just hang up straight away or even tell them to jog on, they don’t seem to like that much. Just a heads up for anyone else out there.

Got a call from 0300 200 3763 earlier on, and a number that looked almost the same rang me a couple of days back. At first I was a bit taken aback, but when I hit 1 and all I heard was a cold ‘hello’, it dawned on me straight away it might be a scam. Another one of these West African scams. They claim to be HMRC, but come on...! It's weird how they got both mine and my partner’s phone numbers, one after the other. We never share our contact info with anyone! Best advice is don’t even engage; just hang up straight away or call them some rude names, either works. They usually back off quick enough. Bloody hell, what a mess! I've already got a tonne of family troubles going on, and this just tipped me right over. I called back the number from a missed call, and some bloke started telling me I’ve got a dodgy tax issue hanging over me. I wasn’t having any of it and hung up straight away. Not long after, they called again but this time it was some robotic voice on the other end. Honestly, it’s awful how these people operate!

Got a call from this number earlier today but didn’t pick up since it was unfamiliar - pretty standard for me. Had a look on this site afterwards and luckily spotted the warning before anything dodgy happened.
