That didn’t seem legit at all, definitely a scam. Don’t trust these calls anymore.

I got a call from a recorded message saying there was some sort of tax fraud issue with HMRC. The message told me to press 1 right away to speak to an HMRC agent or else there’d be a warrant out for me. Sounded dodgy to me.

So, it's ridiculous - this person on the other end from some overseas call centre was yelling at me, threatening I'll get arrested if I don’t hand over my address info today! Totally cracked me up.

I kept turning the call down, but it just kept ringing back at me, like four times straight. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam.

I didn't say a word, neither did the person on the other end, then they just ended the call.

Just got a couple of calls the last two days from a number saying it was HMRC. They claimed there was some fraud case against me and threatened to send a warrant for my arrest if I didn’t hit 1. The number was 03002003679. Seemed really dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, saying there was a warrant for my arrest. I started laughing and told her I couldn't make out what she was saying. I had the call on loudspeaker, and then she snapped at me, asking “Wait, am I on loudspeaker? Don’t be cheeky!” It was so ridiculous, couldn't stop chuckling.

I got a call from ‭0300 200 3679‬ and was asked to press one to reach HMRC. I pressed it just to see what would happen. It was quite funny because then some bloke with a heavy accent, probably from some overseas call centre, started shouting at me. He said I'd be arrested if I didn't hand over my address! When I told him that he was the one trying to scam, not me, he just hung up straight away. Proper dodgy call that one.

I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC too, but luckily I've dealt with government stuff before and knew instantly no official department would threaten you like that on the phone. They kept saying I’d be arrested if I didn’t pay up - such a classic scam!
