I got a call from 0300 200 3596 claiming to be from HMRC. The person on the line said I owed some tax but wouldn’t give their name or any case details. They even threatened that the police would show up in 45 minutes to arrest me. Since I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong, I just ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
