This number rang me up on 3rd March 2019 at 11am GMT. It was some dodgy call about the Queen or something like that. I ended the call straight away. Totally a scam.

Got a call from 03002003593 and the second I picked up, they just hung up. Wouldn’t bother answering if I were you, just block the number straight away.

I got a call from this number saying there was some fraud linked to HMRC and to press 1 if I wanted to know more. When I pressed 1, it put me straight through to a guy with an Indian accent. He asked me my name, which I told him, then wanted my address. I told him I wasn’t sure if it was genuine and asked for a landline number to check myself first. He started threatening me, saying the police would be at my door soon and there’d be serious consequences if I didn’t give the details. Just a heads up to be careful with calls like this. Should I report this to the police? The number was 03002003593.

My mum, who has a disability, got a call from this number. I picked up and it sounded like a scam right away. An automated voice said it was from HMRC, warning about tax fraud. When I pressed 1, I got through to a woman with quite bad English, who already knew my mum’s name and asked for her NI number. She said she couldn’t speak with me as it was confidential. When I mentioned it felt dodgy, she just hung up. I rang HMRC myself afterwards and they confirmed it was a scam, saying they’d look into it. Best thing is not to pick up and just block the number. - scammer pretending to be HMRC calling.

This 0300 number has been calling me like mad, at least five times a day for the last few days. I either didn’t pick up or missed it somehow. Had a quick look online just now, as I had a few minutes, and of course it turns out to be another one of those scam calls. I’m about to block it and file a report - the number’s 03002003595.
