Got a call from this number today. Like some folks here, they were threatening me with arrest for tax evasion unless I hit 1 right away to talk to them. I didn’t say a word or press anything, just stayed quiet and then the call dropped on its own.

I just let the phone ring out and checked online after seeing these comments. The numbers I got were 0300 200 3420, 0300 200 3424, and 0300 200 3432 all on 14th Feb, then 0300 200 3458 on 18th Feb. Glad I ignored them as I thought they might be dodgy, and looks like I was right. - caller said to be from HMRC

I got a call from 0300 200 3454 but didn’t say anything and they just hung up. Tried ringing back but couldn’t get through, so I blocked the number. Then about an hour later, a similar number, 0300 200 3458, called again. I picked up and some bloke said I had a warrant out for my arrest unless I pressed 1. I just told them to jog on and hung up! - apparently calling from the tax office.

I kept getting calls from this number I didn’t pick up at first, then they kept ringing me like 8 times over a few days. I was tempted to answer just to see who it was, but then I thought better of it. Eventually, I just ended up blocking all the different versions of that 0300 number they kept using - stuff like 03448, 03442, 03440, 03434 and a few others. Definitely saved me the hassle.
