I got a call from this number recently. They rang a couple of days ago, but I ignored it. Today I finally picked up, and just like others have said, it’s supposedly HMRC threatening that there’s a warrant for my arrest if I don't press 1 to speak to them. Honestly, the people doing this are up to no good. - caller: 0300 200 3525

Got a call saying I'd done fraud, supposedly from HMRC, threatening me with arrest and jail time. I knew straight away it was dodgy so I blocked the number. It’s quite frightening but I’m sure HMRC wouldn’t ever call and leave a message like that.

Had a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying there was suspicious activity on my account and that there was an arrest warrant out for me. I didn't give them my name and told them I thought it was a scam. They then threatened me saying someone would come to arrest me in the next hour. I just replied 'I'll take my chances!' and ended the call. - Caller pretended to be HMRC.

Just like others have said, it's definitely a scam. The caller claimed to be from the HMRC fraud department, which is a total fib.
