For five days I just ignored calls from this number. Then, suddenly, I got a message saying I'd be arrested for tax fraud if I didn’t call back. Feeling scared, I phoned them, and some bloke with an American accent asked if it was me. Then he put me on hold, asked some more stuff, and just cut me off. Now I’m proper worried because I’ve heard if you answer or call back, they can get into your contacts, bank info, all sorts 😳??????

I was driving and couldn’t hear anything on the phone, so I just ended the call. I’ve signed up for the phone preference service, so I don’t understand how these calls are even getting past!

so i got a call telling me to press 1 or id get arrested, which freaked me out. after i pressed it, i could barely hear a voice saying something about a tax bill and owing £1600. seemed odd since i have a full-time job and don’t have any business running. honestly, these calls should be banned, they’re really misleading.
