Over the past few days, I've had this number ring me up about 4 times. I can imagine how stressful it might be, especially for someone who’s more vulnerable. Is there any way to put a stop to it?

Got a call earlier today from someone saying the police were on their way to arrest me for some sort of income fraud. I’ve got kids and I honestly got so upset, it was such a hectic moment I didn’t even stop to think much about it. It wasn’t until they asked me to make a payment that I started to realise it might be a scam. Proper scary experience.

Like many others have said, I got calls from three slightly different 0300 numbers. HMRC wouldn’t contact you like that, so it’s definitely a scam. I've already reported it to HMRC loads of times.

Over the past few days, I've been getting loads of calls from all sorts of 0300 numbers that look really similar. I've already blocked a bunch of them, and now this one's next on my block list. Total scammers, honestly.

Somebody said they were from HMRC, but I really doubt they'd ring you up on a Saturday or threaten to arrest you without warning. Seems totally daft to me.

Sounds dodgy to me, said something about warranty and getting arrested if I didn’t press 1. Pretty sure HMRC wouldn’t handle things like that!

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from HMRC. He was quite abrupt and wouldn’t properly prove who he was, just kept throwing out some random case number. Totally felt like a scam to me.

Just got a ring from this number a few minutes ago, they asked me to press 1. I had a sneaky suspicion it was some kinda scam, but I pressed 1 anyway and the call dropped straight after.

Absolute scam! They pretend to be from HMRC. I’ve already told the real HMRC and passed on the number. These con artists are total low lives.

Been getting calls from this number a couple times recently. It’s obviously one of those HMRC scams where they try to scare you by saying there’s some fraud complaint and tell you to hit 1 to talk to some “officer.” Totally bogus, no fraud here at all! Just block and don’t bother answering.
