Got a call with a recorded voice saying something about HMRC and to press 1 to continue. They never said my name or anything personal, which felt off since I’m sure the real HMRC wouldn’t handle things like that. So I looked up the number and found loads of others reporting the same thing. Definitely a scam!! Don’t hand over any info to these guys!!

Got a robo call today threatening me with arrest! Honestly, owing money isn’t a crime that lands you in jail. These calls are scams and just rubbish. Best thing to do is hang up and maybe report them. I imagine some folks could really panic if they hear stuff like that, poor things.

Got a call from what claimed to be HMRC but it was actually some kind of robot voice. Out of curiosity, I fed them a fake name and national insurance number. To my surprise, they didn’t reject it at all! I then explained I’d just spoken to proper HMRC recently and that everything with my taxes was fine. As soon as I said that, they just cut the call. Definitely scammers, very risky stuff. No question about it, they’re up to no good.

Totally a scam! They rang up claiming I owed £1300 in back taxes and said if I didn’t pay right away I’d be arrested. Then they tried to get me to send the money through some kind of Google card thing, saying I could pay it at Boots, Sainsbury’s or Tesco. What a load of rubbish! Don’t fall for it.

Problem is, I’m retired and haven't made enough to owe tax for years. Once I said that, they quickly ended the call - guess they realised I wasn’t buying it.

Hey everyone, just after finishing my late shift, I got a call from 300 200 3369. I stupidly pressed 1, thinking it was important. Turns out, they hit me with some story about an HMRC scam and said I owed money to sort it out. The bloke on the line even claimed the cops were heading my way, then suddenly acted like he couldn’t hear me at all. Right after, I got three more calls in quick succession from numbers with Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian country codes (+370 5 210 2097, +371 661 98981, +372 612 8920). I didn’t answer those, and thankfully, they stopped after that. Seems like they’re running a proper international scam operation. Caller was 300 200 3369.

Just got a call from 03002003369 at about 4:44 pm, an automated voice kept nagging about some tax fraud suspicion.
