Got a call like this today. They claimed I owe about £1700 dating back to 2014 and reckoned the case is at Court now, saying I’d be arrested if I ended the call. They also said they sent a letter to an old address I haven’t lived at for over 4 years. I asked who they were, and was told to check my GOV account. Then the woman just cut me off! It’s crazy how these calls can freak people out so bad. Could really give someone a heart attack.

I’m really relieved to see others talking about this number because I got a call saying there was tax fraud linked to me. When I pressed 1 as instructed, the line just cut off.
