Dont pick up calls claiming to be from HMRC, they say they have a warrant to arrest you. They tell you to press 1 to speak, then try to get your bank info. Ive also got letters pretending to be from the DSS asking for my bank details but they arent signed by anyone legit from DSS. Dont reply or give out info. These are just scams trying to scare you. If you’re unsure, ask a relative for help or go straight to the police. Believe me, this is the reality. Even if the caller sounds nice or tries sounding posh and friendly, it’s probably a trick. Stay safe and dont be fooled.

Beware of calls pretending to be from HMRC saying they’ve got a warrant to arrest you. They tell you to press 1 to speak, then try to get your bank info. I’ve also received letters supposedly from the DSS asking for my bank details, but they’re not signed by anyone from DSS. Don’t reply to these - they’re just scare tactics. If you’re unsure, ask a family member to help or visit the police. This is real, don’t get tricked, even if the person sounds polite or uses a posh accent asking about your day.

Ignore calls claiming to be from HMRC saying they have a warrant to arrest you. They ask you to press button 1 and then want your bank info. I've also gotten letters supposedly from the DSS asking for my bank details, but none were signed properly by the DSS. Don’t respond to these, they’re just trying to scare you. If you’re ever unsure, ask a trusted family member for help or go straight to the police. This is really happening, so don’t get tricked, even if the voice sounds polite or posh and they’re acting all friendly asking about your day.

Got a call early Saturday, like 8 in the morning, with someone saying I was gonna be arrested for some tax fraud thing. It was clearly a load of rubbish so I just ended the call right away. Still, it kinda shook me up so I looked it up here and yep, total scam. People doing this stuff really need to be stopped!!!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC telling me there was a warrant out for my arrest. They said if I didn’t press one, the police would come for me. I didn’t even say anything, just hung up. It’s disgusting, especially since I’m not well. Such a nasty scam.

I got a call and I stupidly hit one, then they told me I supposedly had an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes. They asked for my personal info and money too. Thankfully, I didn’t give them anything. Rotten people live long, I guess.

I got a robocall from someone saying they were from HMRC. They told me there’s some sort of tax fraud case against me and if I didn’t hit 1 immediately, i’d apparently “be arrested soon”. Then they just cut off the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, asked for my address and name, I gave it but then the call just dropped. Bit worried if that’s alright? They also wanted to know if I had a solicitor or something! Strange one.

Pretty sure it was a scam - some bloke with an Asian accent was trying to get my address. I told him no way, and then he just cut the call.

Got a voicemail warning me I'd face arrest unless I hit 1, so I did. Then this lady with a thick Asian accent came on the line, but it sounded like she was in some noisy pub or something. She kept asking for my postcode and other details. When I said no, she went on about how I'd be locked away for ages. Told her I'd just ring up HMRC myself. Total scam if you ask me. Blocked her number straight away.

This guy rang me up saying there’s a warrant out for my arrest over some tax evasion nonsense. I do pay my taxes! Funny thing is, he also managed to scam me out of £75 through some gaming site, same person too.

So this guy from HMRC called sayin I had an arrest warrant or something. When my partner picked up the phone the second time, some Indian bloke called Ken Noland started getting really pushy and rude. Proper sketchy!
