For more than a year, I've been getting letters every week addressed to someone else, telling them they owe tax and need to pay right away. I decided to send one back marked as 'addressee not known,' and wouldn't you know it, I got another one with the same note on it after that! Honestly, it's quite a funny situation 😂

Had a voicemail from someone speaking in a strong Scottish accent claiming to be from HMRC. They said it was urgent and wanted to talk to our director about something called PCU. The number they left to call back was 03002003210. We suspected it was a scam straight away, and after checking the reviews here, it's clear that's exactly what it is.

Got a call from a private number claiming to be from HMRC, asking me to verify my address. They said it was a routine check. Then, about a fortnight later, I got a letter that looked official - the envelope and header made it seem like it was from HMRC. The letter included the number 03002003210 and a fake address listed as ‘Sandra G Kent, Northeast Metropolitan Area, 119 Grange Road, Middlesbrough, Cleveland, TS1 2XA’. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
