Got a call with a really scary voice saying I’d be arrested for tax fraud if I didn’t hit one. So, I pressed one to talk to the officer, who then wanted me to confirm my details. I didn’t give my name because if it was really HMRC, they would already have my info.

Got a call from a robotic voice claiming to be from the tax office, telling me that if I didn’t hit 1, they’d send a warrant for my arrest over some income tax problem. I couldn’t help but laugh! But honestly, if someone less thick than me answered, they might have pressed one and ended up getting scammed for sure.
