Got a call earlier today too - I ignored it, but they dropped a voicemail warning that if I didn’t ring them back, I’d have a warrant out for my arrest.

Received a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but turned out to be scammers. They kept threatening me with arrest - don’t fall for it and don’t pick up! HMRC would never ring you up like that.

I got a call from this number early Saturday, they said it was HMRC on the line. I ignored it but checked the voicemail later. The message warned me about a warrant and said I could be arrested soon. Seems fishy because HMRC usually sends letters, never phoning especially on weekends. Looks like a scare tactic to make you ring back, probably premium rate or something. Just thought I’d share in case it helps someone else.
