I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a recorded message about some sort of tax fraud investigation supposedly involving me, courtesy of HMRC. It got even more bizarre, urging me to press one if I wanted to steer clear of a warrant for my arrest! Naturally, I terminated the call and promptly blocked the number: 0300 200 3005 - that was the number in question.
