Got a recorded message from this number out of nowhere, telling me I supposedly got convicted of tax evasion. It said if I didn’t hit 1, they would send out an arrest warrant to get me. Total scam, don’t trust it!

Those dodgy con artists are now laying the blame on me for supposedly defrauding HMRC.

They asked if I need a lawyer, I told them no and wanted more info about the case they said I’m involved in. Then they told me to put it in writing and as soon as I tried to, they just cut the call. Now I’m stuck waiting for some probably fake bills to show up.

I got a call from some robot voice pretending to be HMRC, it was sketchier than a dodgy bloke selling stuff on the street, so I just ended the call straight away.

got a call from someone claiming to be hmrc, said there was a tax fraud case against me and they were sending the police to arrest me, which was terrifying considering i’m a 72-year-old pensioner. when they started rambling on about courthouses and warrants i asked what office they were calling from, pointing out that here in the UK we only have courts, no courthouses. she seemed annoyed and asked if i was joking, i said no but i suspected she was the scammer. then she just told me to shut up and hung up.

I got a call from this number claiming that there was a tax fraud case against my name and urging me to press one. Naturally, I followed instructions and a chap picked up. I told him that I hadn't been aware of any such situation and questioned why I should divulge my personal details before he could verify his identity. His response was shockingly impolite, even going as far as to suggest we would rendezvous at the police station. I merely replied, "Alright then," and hung up the phone. It's high time the authorities take more robust action to stamp out these scammers. - caller: 03002003001

I've just had yet another dodgy phone call from this number. When I pressed 1, a rather hesitant chap with an Asian accent replied with a rather vague "how can I assist you?" His lack of professionalism was quite off-putting, so I decided to just hang up. - caller: 03002003001

Received a rather alarming call from this number earlier. They accused me of being involved in tax fraud, which sounded rather serious. Unfortunately, I couldn't glean much else from the conversation other than a rather ominous threat to either confess my guilt or face arrest! The number came up as +44 300 200 3001. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Received a voicemail threatening that I’m implicated in HMRC tax fraud and that I risk arrest unless I press 1 to get in touch. Interestingly, pressing 1 only replays the message rather than connecting me - how ridiculous! Clearly a dodgy scam at play. - caller: 0300 200 3001

Got a call from someone saying HMRC say I owe £2700 because of dodgy tax payments. They said I had to pay right away or the police would come and arrest me. Asked for my address but they didn’t even want my postcode. When I told them I wasn't paying anything, they just hung up.
