Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from HMRC, sounded like a dodgy call centre from India. I just hung up straight away, mate. Don’t even think about pressing anything!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Officer Adrian Harris, quoting a case number and saying I’m on a debt list. They said I owe £1,950 and that I’ve been defrauding the government. The caller also threatened that all my assets would be frozen and that I’d be taken to court if I didn’t sort a direct debit right away. They even said a police officer would show up within half an hour to arrest me, and I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone or discuss it with anyone else.
