Got a call from some bloke with a really deep voice pretending to be from HMRC. He kept saying I'd be arrested for fraud and told me to hit 1 on my phone. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Ignore any calls like this, it's obviously a scam trying to get you to respond. Best to just hang up and not even say a word.

Got a voicemail saying there’s some tax fraud case under my name and to press a number to sort it out...I just ended the call and blocked the number right away.

Just got a call from someone sounding like HMRC with a really deep bloke telling me I’m gonna be arrested for fraud unless I hit 1 on the phone keypad. Anyone reckon it’s worth telling the cops about?

Just ignore the call and put the phone down straight away, don’t push any buttons. Got one of those dodgy scammers trying to scare me about tax offences. Honestly, they’re vile and deserve to be tracked down and sorted out without any pity.

Got a call from some robot telling me I owe the tax office and that I’ll get nicked if I don’t pay up. Total load of rubbish, don’t fall for it!

This was definitely a bogus tax scam call... I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Total muppets!
