Got a call on my phone at about 5:06 pm on Friday the 2nd of August 2019, but I missed it. I tried calling back on Saturday afternoon (3/8/19), and an automated voice said, "This service is not currently available." After reading some of the other reviews, it really set off my alarms. Honestly, I'd say just don’t pick up if it rings.

Got a call this morning from some automated voice saying I was in trouble with HMRC and to hit 1 to avoid a warrant. They didn’t even know my name linked to the phone number! Also, considering I’m only 12, pretty obvious this was a scam. You’d think HMRC would have better info than that, right?

Someone pretending to be from HMRC called me, and I’m now trying to get this annoying call reported to the police. They spoke so aggressively, it was quite intimidating. Plus, HMRC usually sends a letter before calling, so I’m pretty sure this was a scam. It’s worrying to think about how these fraudsters manage to get hold of our phone numbers.

Out of curiosity, I pressed 1 and the call just cut off. The voice was clearly a recording, not a real person. They really need to put an end to this nonsense.
