I've just received a rather alarming phone call from someone purporting to be from HMRC, alleging that there’s a warrant issued for my arrest concerning tax fraud. They even provided my address, which has left me rather anxious. The caller claimed that I had a mere 45 minutes to resolve the matter out of court before it escalated to legal proceedings. I decided to hang up when I insisted on reaching out to HMRC directly for confirmation, rather than dealing with them over the phone. It's all quite dodgy, if you ask me!

They rang me up just now, going on about some tax fraud nonsense. I asked a few questions, and suddenly he started saying the cops were coming to cart me off to jail! When I kept pushing back, he started swearing at me and even made nasty comments about my mum. That’s when I knew for sure it was all a load of rubbish.

Got a call saying there was some tax fraud linked to my name and to press a button to speak to the right department. I didn’t bother, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Best thing is not to get involved with these calls - they’ll keep ringing different numbers, but I’m just ignoring them or blocking every time they come through. Usually, I just let it go to voicemail and don’t answer at all.

If they really wanted to get in touch, they'd do so proper, like sending a letter in the post. This just feels like a scam to me, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Coa, no thanks!

Got a couple of calls today, 9th April, from 03002002943 and then another one from 03002002952, but no one picked up when I tried. I reckon they're from the same source just switching up numbers. Kinda creepy, so I’ve blocked them both now, but I bet they'll ring back using slightly different numbers soon enough.

03002002952 called me claiming I had a warrant out for my arrest and owed £2500 - yeah right. I had a sneaky suspicion it was a scam but decided to check anyway. I can see how older folks might get tricked and end up handing over cash. So dodgy.
