Got hit by what sounds like the usual HMRC scam. Some robotic voice told me I've got a fraud case hanging over me and if I didn’t hit 1, I’d be suddenly arrested. This happened to me twice within half an hour while I was at my job. Definitely don’t press 1, it’s a trick!

I've lost count, this has been the fourth time they've called me. Best thing to do is simply hang up and block them straight away. Don’t be tempted to press any buttons, like 1, as it probably means extra charges.

I got a call from this number the other day, and they claimed to be from HMRC, telling me to press 1 or I’d get arrested! Thankfully, my mate at work warned me these calls are SCAMS, so all I gave out was my name. Pretty relieved I ended the call before things got any worse!

got another one of these hmrc scam calls today. they said i’m being investigated for fraud and if i don’t respond, they’ll put out an arrest warrant. honestly, this is the third time in the last few weeks i’ve got one of these - i keep blocking the numbers but they keep coming from different ones. anyway, blocked this latest one too - still no sign of me getting arrested lol!
