On the 2nd of July, I received a call from 0300 200 2270 claiming to be from HMRC, saying they were looking into some kind of fraud linked to me. Just a heads up, apparently there’s been loads of scam calls pretending to be from HMRC going about. From what I’ve heard, HMRC usually gets in touch by post if there’s anything urgent, they don’t ring you up out of the blue.
