Honestly, if they arrest me, it won’t end there. Once I’m free, I swear I’m gonna track down every last one of those idiots and make sure they pay, no matter what.

got a call on the bank holiday monday, and it was all automated. the start was a bit garbled but they said if i didnt press 1, they’d issue a warrant for my arrest. they claimed it was about a fraud on hmrc. but honestly, if hmrc suspects fraud, they always send a letter first inviting you for an official interview, which is done under caution, ive seen it loads of times cos im a solicitor. so dont fall for this nonsense, it’s just a scam!

On 28th May 2019, I got a call from someone who said they were from HMRC. They told me there was tax fraud linked to my name and I had to press 1 to chat with the person handling my case or else they’d send a warrant to arrest me. Proper scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some robot voice saying it was HMRC. Seriously, when will folks get it? In the UK, HMRC won't ring you up - they show up at your door instead.

I got a robocall saying it's from HMRC about some tax fraud and told me to press 1 to talk to someone. Pretty sure whoever’s behind this scam has no idea we had a bank holiday, 'cause it just doesn’t add up.

Just got a call from someone saying they were a tax officer from HMRC, telling me I owed money and that they'd send a warrant for my arrest if I didn’t pay up. I checked with my local police, and they said it was a total scam. Definitely don’t fall for it!

I’ve gotten a couple of calls over the past week now, both from someone pretending to be government officials. They told me there’s a tax fraud case against me and if I don’t call a specific number straight away, they’ll come to my house with an arrest warrant. It’s the exact same message both times, really worrying.
