somebody kept calling me claiming they were from hmrc, it was so annoying and stressful. really bad experience.

Got a call from someone sayin he was officer Kevin Smith, using this number, claimin I owed £2550 in back taxes. They threatened a £45000 fine through court if I didn’t sort it. Thankfully, they didn't ask for my birth date, otherwise they’d have seen their records were wrong and said I was 'tyr old' when the tax was supposedly due. Not very smart on their part!

I received a call from this number earlier today claiming to be from HMRC. They asserted that I had an outstanding tax bill exceeding £1300. When my wife engaged with them, pointing out that my tax submissions were all current and in order, and asked for their name, they abruptly hung up. I've been informed that HMRC typically doesn't make unsolicited calls like this!

I received a rather alarming call today, claiming that I was under investigation for tax evasion by Her Majesty's Treasury. They insisted that I press 1 to speak to a representative, warning that failure to do so would result in my immediate reporting and subsequent arrest. I decided it was best to hang up and now find myself anxiously awaiting the arrival of the police!

Scam Alert - Number Blocked - Just got a call from 0300 200 2200. I picked up, but they didn’t utter a word - just silence on the other end before they dropped the line. It's more irritating than anything else, really!
