Received a robocall purporting to be from Link Financial concerning debts I am not aware of. They prompted me to press 1 or 2 for more details. I chose to terminate the call instead, as it appeared to be a blatant scam.

I received a call from a debt collection agency named Link Financial.

Scam alert! I've got no debts, so I'm giving these calls a wide berth. I've already shut down four of their numbers!

I've received a call from Link Financial inquiring about someone named SHIRLEY SJ HUGHES, but I haven’t the foggiest idea who that is! Quite perplexing, really.

I just received a rather annoying spam call that really ought to cease. It's becoming quite tiresome!

We've had a couple of calls on our home phone from this number. One time, they even left a voicemail asking for someone named Mark Dole. To our knowledge, there's no one by that name residing here. We've chosen not to pick up any of their calls. According to BT, this number is based in Cardiff and is flagged as a nuisance caller. This morning, at precisely 09:27 on Monday, 15th May 2023, they tried to reach us again, but we opted to ignore the call. In light of this, we've gone ahead and registered our landline with the Telephone Preference Service to block any future pestering.

Today, on the 15th of May, 2023, at precisely 09:27 in the morning, our home phone received a call from this number, which we opted not to answer. This particular number has tried to get in touch multiple times, and on one occasion, it left a voicemail requesting a certain Mark Dole to return their call. We have no connections to anyone by that name and can confirm we are not linked in any way. Upon investigating various "who called me" websites, it appears that this number has been identified as a dubious caller by others.

If it’s Link Finance you’re dealing with, there’s no need to panic – it’s not a fraudulent operation. Essentially, they’ve acquired a debt that you owe. They operate as a collections firm.

They keep ringing me several times throughout the day.

Link Finance got in touch, leaving a message and sending me a text, followed up by an email. I've had enough and decided to block them.

I've been getting a barrage of messages and automated calls meant for someone who isn't me. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

Spam callers are nothing but a nuisance. Just go ahead and block them; they’re all bark and no bite. It’s like watching a soggy fish floundering about, throwing empty threats while earning peanuts in a dead-end job with barely any schooling behind them.

I keep getting prompted for a reference number, specifically for Angelika Myizera, which is 2447148. However, I have no knowledge of this number nor any connection to the person it relates to.

Link Financial – I suspect they’ve acquired my Halifax outstanding balance.

Given the current situation with the lockdown, this is absolutely all you need. Can we please just take a break?

Beware of the finance scam linked to this number! It's a total con!

Received a couple of calls on the 17th of September and again today, both roughly at half past twelve. Didn't answer either one, and I've since added the number to my blocked list.

It seemed to be an automated recording; it was quite brief and only lasted a matter of seconds. However, it was related to financial matters.

I recently received an unexpected and missed call from a number I'm unfamiliar with. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be yet another scam call, potentially from Link Finance. They seem to have taken it upon themselves to repeatedly hound me from various numbers sporting the same dialling code, all about debts I’ve settled ages ago. It’s frustrating, to say the least!
