Got a missed call and there was a voicemail left. It was an automated message asking me to get in touch with Link. Oddly enough, the number they called from isn’t the same as the one listed on their website. The number that rang me was 029 2085 8773, but on their site, it shows 03330 145 145 as their contact. Bit confusing!

Every few days I get texts from Link about an old unsecured debt that’s supposedly from 25 years ago. Plus, they send letters through the post which look really official and even have a reference code on them. I called them up and they were asking me to pay for this unsecured debt from the year 2000. But then, when I checked their actual website and entered the reference number, it didn’t show up at all. Honestly, I’m not sure what to make of it - feels like someone’s trying to pull off a clever scam pretending to be Link.

We keep getting calls on a mobile we hardly use, and it’s always a recorded voice asking for Amber Jones. It feels a bit dodgy since you’d think if it was something important, the caller would mention why they're ringing. There’s no clue about who or what company is behind it either. Now, it’s happening every single day, so I’m seriously thinking about blocking the number soon.

These people keep pretending to be from Link. They called me a few years back using that name, then switched it up to something else, and now they're using Link again. Don’t share any details or pay them a penny. Just block any numbers or texts from them. You don’t owe them anything. Anyone online saying different is probably part of the scam. Be careful out there!

This number keeps pretending to be different companies - first, they said they were from an energy provider, then it switched to debt collectors. I picked up to see what was going on, and as soon as I found out, I hung up. They never could confirm my name or any details about the supposed debt they mentioned, so under no circumstances give them any of your info, especially financial stuff. If you want to block them, use the code 03330 - when they ring, it’ll show as 03330 145 145, which you can even find listed on their official website. Keep your wits about you, folks.

We've had a couple of calls on our home phone from this number. One time, they even left a voicemail asking for someone named Mark Dole. To our knowledge, there's no one by that name residing here. We've chosen not to pick up any of their calls. According to BT, this number is based in Cardiff and is flagged as a nuisance caller. This morning, at precisely 09:27 on Monday, 15th May 2023, they tried to reach us again, but we opted to ignore the call. In light of this, we've gone ahead and registered our landline with the Telephone Preference Service to block any future pestering.
