I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from O2. She kept saying my mobile contract was about to expire and I had to renew it or I'd lose my number. When I mentioned I have four phones and asked which one she meant, she got confused and just said it was the one with the contract ending. Thing is, I don’t actually have any phones with O2, but I decided to play along to see if it was a scam - which it clearly was since she never asked for my name. I’ve reported it to the ICO and will be blocking the number.

I’ve never been in any accident and don’t know Albany Insurance at all. It was a dodgy call from a quite feminine sounding bloke named Adam. I told him to piss off, and honestly, you’d do well to do the same.
