Got a call from a woman saying her name was Daisy, sounded like she was from India, which made me doubt she was really called that. She knew my name though, so it’s clear they’ve done some digging or got a list from somewhere. She asked if I’d been getting any annoying calls, and I told her just hers. She kept insisting she worked for TPS, but it felt like a total scam. They’re proper persistent, trying hard to blag your info. Definitely block them and warn others - these lot are relentless and just looking for people to fool.

This number has called me six times today. After seeing these comments, I was prepared and told them quite nicely to buzz off.

This number 02827827008 kept calling me a couple of times yesterday and again today. I usually let the answer machine take it, so no message was left, which is why I'm looking them up on this Bank Holiday Monday. My advice? Just let unknown calls go to voicemail like I do, and only answer if you recognise the person. If they don't bother to leave a message, don’t bother ringing back. Easy as that!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was with the Telephone Preference Service and would put an end to all my unwanted calls. I'm pretty sure it's the same lot behind the annoying calls trying to con you. Told her straight up she was a scammer, and I got a bit angry. So yeah, feeling pretty irritated now. But if you can have a chuckle at these calls instead, it makes them less irritating and actually kind of amusing!

Like some others here, I first got a call from 02827 827026, but now I’m getting loads from 02827 827008. Yesterday (23/4/18) alone, they rang me about 12 times, and this morning from 10am it started all over again. I had no idea who they were until I found this site, which was a relief. The constant ringing is beyond annoying, and I’m seriously thinking about setting up call blocking to deal with it. It’s really awful how they can disturb people’s calm, especially for those who live on their own.

Got called no less than 10 times in about 45 minutes! The phone number looked genuine at first, but then the caller claimed I had some sort of call protection and said they were from BT. Total scam and feels like harassment. It’s really sneaky how they try to trick vulnerable older folks into giving away personal details. I picked up while at my nan’s house.
