This morning, I had a chap with an Indian accent ring me up, and it was clear he was reciting from a script. He mentioned something about 'TPS' or whatnot. Long story short, it's just one of those scams. Best to disregard it!

Fortunately, I've got a BT call blocker on my phone. I just looked at my recent calls and saw 19 rings from this number over the last day, plus another one that turned up the same kind of stuff (they claim to be from TPS, not buying it). I've gone ahead and blocked them both now.

Phone kept buzzing all day and into the evening. My wife picked up once, and it was clearly a scam. The caller claimed to be from TPS and tried to get our bank info, but as soon as she didn't give in, he just hung up. We decided to ignore all the calls after that.

I answered a call thinking I was going to give feedback about the Tax Code Office, but it turned out to be a total SCAM. The caller, who had an Asian accent, claimed to be from the TPS service. He surprised me by knowing my full name, address and postcode. Then he launched into the scam spiel, saying my VISA card had expired back in 2018 and asked if I’d renewed it. I told him to be quiet, but he wouldn’t stop. I was trying to get a word in to ask why someone from TPS cared about my VISA card, but he kept talking over me. I ended up just hanging up. Proper SCAM alert!

Some bloke with a heavy Indian accent rang, saying he was from the telephone preference service but sounded like he was just reading off a script. Kept calling me Mrs even though I told him I’m not and told him I’d signed up with the Government’s do-not-call list. This was the third time I’d had a call like this in under an hour. Proper annoying.

Bloody annoying twits have rung me up seven times within just four and a half hours! I've blocked the number on most phones, but there’s still one device without Call Guardian, so I’m thinking of unplugging it for a bit to see if that's how they’re sneaking through. And seriously, what’s the point of the TPS? I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service like loads of others, but it feels like it does absolutely nothing to stop these pest calls!

Since lunchtime today, I've been getting calls every hour on the dot. I ignored them at first so have no clue who's behind it. When I tried ringing back, it just beeped once then a voice said the line isn't active anymore! It's really annoying. I guess my only option is to get a newer phone that has built-in call blocking. I'm signed up with the TPS but they don't seem to help with calls like this. Honestly, it's starting to feel like harassment with them calling so regularly!

Got six calls from these lot just today! They were pestering my mum non-stop all last week too. Every day, she'd get calls, then on Friday, some bloke rings pretending he needs her bank info to put an end to the calls. We reported it both to her bank and the cops. If I ever catch one of these muppets on the line, they'll regret it. Reminder: TPS never ask for your bank details over the phone.

This bloke just wouldn’t stop ringing, even after I tried speaking with an Indian accent. Then I switched it up to a Scottish one, which finally made him drop the call haha. He’s called me about eight times today, claiming to be from TPS. Honestly, I’m kinda enjoying this now, thinking up ways to mess with him if he calls again!

Got loads of calls today, some just silent. A few times they said they were from the Telephone Preference Service, but when I pushed back they changed it to Telephone Preference Management service. Spoke to one caller on Saturday who already had my name and address, and he was pretty pushy trying to get my bank info, saying he needed to verify my "direct debit identifier". Took him about 45 minutes before he gave up, I guess he worked out I wasn't totally daft.
